CHANGES IN DMC EQUIPMENT DUE TO STATE GUIDELINES ON COVID-19
Regular Digital Media Center will be operating in a limited capacity for Fall term 2020 or until further notice. Fall term checkouts will be available starting October 5.
Equipment checkouts should be scheduled as a single, long term checkout to avoid multiple exchanges of gear over the course of the project. Students will communicate with their professor, and DMC staff, to establish the checkout time period.
Students should document how they are adapting their production plan to meet state guidelines and follow social distancing practices.
Gear must be reserved in advance and a checkout appointment will be made to hand off the equipment.
Please plan your project and production schedule carefully to ensure you complete all production during your scheduled checkout period.
We are making every effort to maintain as much access as possible while adhering to SOU and State of Oregon health and safety guidelines. Members of the university community may check-out photo, video, sound, and lighting equipment at the DMC when school is in session and during the hours specified on the Google calendar.
